Mammoth Nordic is pleased to announce

We recognize that making our town a better place to live is the simplest way to make it a better place to visit!

Establishing SnowSchool in Mammoth has been our ambition for several years. Mammoth Nordic has invested in MSR snowshoes to outfit first graders. We will provide a free winter ecology experience for local school kids on the Mammoth Nordic Trail System. Our program is designed to provide kids that otherwise would not have the opportunity a chance to learn a little about the wonder of their winter environment. These kids can decide for themselves how much fun goofing off (actually, exercising!) on snowshoes and XC skis really is!

We intend to expand the program annually, following this year's crop of six year olds through their elementary school experience.
